Could Alex Brown be the next Alex Johnson?

Alex brown seems to be going from strength to strength now that he has overcome his injury problems. Is he that tall defender with pace that made AJ so valuable? The Swans gave him a run (only a few minutes) in the last NAB Cup game in Adelaide when they were trying to be as close to full strength as possible. Ressie watchers please give your thoughts.

Personally I have no problem with that conjecture. Have watched this season his growing confidence and a natural tendancy to give direction as well as making intelligent decisions.

He is not in AJ's class at the same stage though. AJ is a world unto himself. However, I expect Alex to push into seniors as a natural progression. He has a lot of conditioning to get under his belt and a lot of game time too.

You just cannot lump AJ and for that matter Hanners with any other players at the same stage. Every now and again someone arrives and that's that. Rare though.
