Official AFL player ratings

My guess for the remaining 8, in no particular order (except Ablett will be #1)

Ablett
Franklin
Mitchell
Pavlich
Pendlebury
J.Selwood
Swan
Watson

Sounds like it should be called 'midfielder ratings'.

Pavelich ad Franklin are the only two who are not mids. What about rating players on value to their side. These players are rated on possessions and X Factor. What about the players like Teddy who do their job every week and if injured would leave a huge hole in a side. Franklin's injury last year, as good as he is, didn't really impact on Hawks, they actually won by more two weeks running.

Would have to agree that Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Franklin and Watson will have to be in there. That leaves only 2 spots left. I wonder if Cotchin or Dangerfield will get in. I also think it would be hard not to include either NIcNat or Dean Cox. Really difficult picking a top 10, except for Ablett.

Totally agree. Do you think Ted and Reg would get points for blocking a forward's run at the ball?

Sounds like just another version of DT or SC, designed to drive traffic to the AFL website.

Rioli at 5 eh? I'll take the Premiership instead thanks.

Ablett is number one by a mile, the rest will be great players. Swan, Pendlebury, Selwood probably. I'll still take our 7 Premiership midfielders with 25 possessions each though thanks. A fit Luke Parker has made us even deeper through there this year too.
