    Toughest games

We're still seven days away from our next game, so here's a time-filler.

Which games will be the hardest for the Swans this year?

    Pick four.

    Formguide
Hawthorn MCG - in better nick than this stage last year
Freo SCG - we won this game by 2 goals last year
Collingwood MCG - a long time since we've beaten them on this ground
Essendon SCG - in the last four games the margins have been 4, 1, 5, and 9 points
    Port AS- 5-0!
West Coast PS- at home, and may have Nic Nat back
Richmond SCG- beat us by 5 goals at the MCG last year
Collingwood ANZ - broke the drought on this ground in the prelim
Geelong SS - we're still the only side to have won there in five years
Hawthorn ANZ - GF rematch rematch, last game of the minor round

NB: I might have added Carlton - we haven't beaten a Malthouse team for seven years - but no space.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news

I've picked the two Hawthorn games plus Essendon and Geelong. That doesn't mean I'm confident we'll beat Collingwood twice, or Richmond even once, even at home; just that I don't see these games being as tough as the others. I've also left off Freo and West Coast because of their serious injury problems. I think we should beat Port, despite their excellent start. Likewise I'd tip us against Carlton, but they won't be a pushover, especially with Waite back, as now looks probable.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

We need to have a win or a "good" loss by this time of the season.

Hawks at The G - Because that will be our biggest test so far.

Cobwebs of the Premiership blown away and the team match fit and setting up for the rest of the year.

This is a major building block to get those vital points to finish at least top 4

After Norths effort today - Hawthorn are not the predicted power side of 2013 (at least not yet)

The same can be said about the Swans on form so far.

Rioli doing his hammy tonight definitely just made the round 7 match a bit easier...

Smithy will be doing back flips tomorrow morning when the scan results come in

Probably not, because you can vote for more than one game.

Funny how the expected (2) toughest games are games we won last year.

With 3 of our "toughest" games out of the way (according to the poll)
We've come away with 2 wins and a loss.

    This weekend poses another challenge.
Are we good enough to overcome it again??

Hindsight is, of course, always 20/20 but interesting to note that as at 28 April, beating Port was considered by the sample of RWO readers to be a harder assignment than beating the Tiges and a tougher trip to Adelaide than this week against the Crows (which didn't even appear on the radar).
