The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news
Those are terrible choices - only two positive statements!
Not really great options, I would have opted for "Might have shown enough to be on a list somewhere next year"
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Nothing wrong with being a whipping boy - This title has been held by such luminaries as LRT, McVeigh (i believe referred to commonly as Mchack not so many years ago), Malceski and of course who could ever forget Paul Bevan. ALL of them premiership players.
I was under the impression that all RWO polls had to include a 'ROK is hot' option??
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09
I hope he stays otherwise i'll have to find a new whipping boy........at a greatly reduced payment, 300k per year is way too much for him!
Those choices weren't meant to be critical of Jesse - just a sardonic reflection of his colourful career and the extreme responses to him.
Bear in mind, playing for the Crows wouldn't have been a negative for Jesse. With Walker sidelined and Jacobs under-performing he's the player Adelaide needed.
Stell makes a fair point though - with Jesse's improved form and the reliable demand for good talls, I should've put in a 'trade bait' option. But given our reliance on him I can't really imagine a scenario in which the Swans would let him go.
I vote the same as Stella
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
YOU BETCHA!!!!!!
Future still in his own hands
The only real defect I see in Jesse is that he's a bit too "nice" and needs a bit more mongrel. I'd be more scared of doing the boxing training with Ben McGlynn than with him!
