Sad if true but more or less the right time.

Very dependable type - always knew what you were going to get

Sad and Glad. Sad because our time with the wonderful Jude has finally ended. Glad that he made the call at the right time.

Blond headed bouncy puppy to reliable, strong, ethical, generous and 'invincible' footy player for the Swans.

True champion Jude. Gave everything for the jumper, a real Blood Brother.

Good luck for the rest of the year and whatever you choose to do in "retirement", you'll be sadly missed in the no. 24

Yeah yeah Jude - now that put the bloody cardigan and slippers AWAY , cos you've got some serious hard WORK to do in the Red and White , til about 5:10pm on Saturday 28th September ! Do I see the rosy glow of contentment on your countenance ? Or the burning glow of desire to play in your fourth GF ?? Plenty of time for you to bruise those ribs and bloody that head for us yet again - and I reckon that's exactly what you'll do,ya bugger !

If he thinks it's time then it surely must be, it seems amazing given the way he played that he survived for so long. What a great career. Congratualtions and thanks for the memories.

    Off topic. but:

Doubt it, why go LARS if he was going to quit.

True club great, well done Jude and all the best for the future.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Wonderful career. 15 years of using his body as a battering ram and doing everything he possibly could to get his team over the line. Thanks for everything, Jude!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

    What can you say?
Thanks Jude just doesn't sum it up.
Hope to see him for a few more games this year

    Going to miss him

What an absolute privilege it has been to watch the career of one Mr Jude Bolton. A swans legend through and through, and a thoroughly great guy to go with it as well. It just won't be the same without him next year

Has been an honour to enjoy his wonderful contribution to our team, our club and our Premiership victories!

Now come on Swannies, lets send him out fittingly with a big effort from here on in!
