In a way, I'm excited to see how our young guys react to this pressure. Clearly, those 2 injuries have put any chance of winning the flag to bed. It was going to be hard enough winning tonight, going on the road to Freo and then to beat propably Hawks in the GF. Let's see who stands up! I've been a knocker of Everitt but he stood up in that 1st quarter.

    More than a Christmas turkey.

Swans seem so much slower. Too Tippett focused in recent weeks so him gone will also affect the Blues game plan because they planned with him there.

Could be blessing if we can get Mitchell back. Will be hard with just 2 on the bench.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Well, we'll need a lot of luck and a lot of grit to win this. Let's see who has the the true bloods spirit.

And these injuries wouldn't have happened at the SCG- The surface of ANZ is notoriously bad. In addition I may have been able to have somebody go with me if it was at the SCG- as it is I'm stuck at home because nobody would go to ANZ

6-4 to 2-6. Swans looking good. But Mitchell's gone for the night so we're two down, and Carlton are really going to come at us in the second half.

Curnow's been subbed out for the Blues - something in the surface surely.

Great goal-saving tackle on Yarran by Melcho.

McVeigh 16 possessions for the quarter.

Without doubt the best we have played in six weeks. Seriously when we lower our eyes we are so much better. We have lots of guys who can kick the 30-45 metre goal and when we use that we are much much better

I've been critical of Bighead McVeigh recently but absolutely magnificent performance in that 2nd qtr. Has set a new world record by having more possessions than Linda Blair.

No arm flapping or abusing team mates tonight and has stood up like a true leader.

I think the loss of Curnow has helped the Swans as well. Hopefully Rampe will be back.

It won't make any difference this year but the surface on Homebush at finals is deplorable.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.
