    Grand Final sprint

I just can't take reading all the speculation & innuendo with all the trade rumors anymore.

So on a MUCH more positive note, Harry Cunningham will represent us in the Grand Final sprint. Best of luck Harry!

Remember when the Grand Final Sprint was our only hope of participation on Grand Final day? Aaah, the bad old days!

    Go Harry!

    Yes.

Would have been nice to see a rejuvinated Gary have a run or BJ. Also sad Pyke slipped on his attempt. Would have been nice to see him get up and go.

Patrick Dangerfield won. I think daylight came second, then followed by Harry.

So Harry a scratching by the looks of it. Rohan cruises home to take out the second heat comfortably.

It was great seeing Gazza out there giving it a decent shot. A well deserved reward for all he's done to get back this year...

He's also got a very good technique - very relaxed and his starts have always been excellent. Gazza looked like he got a poor start in the final and then kind of gave up when he realised he had no chance of getting close to Dangerfield.

Yeah that's how I saw it. Great effort by Gary. He should be so proud of what he achieved this year. I honestly though his best result was playing a handful of 2's games in the latter stages of the season. Next he's kicking a few in the premlim and running the grand final sprint.
