A beautiful sunny Sydney afternoon set the scene for an easy Swans Victory over a limp Lions who seemed to lack any urgency or even desire to get to the ball, the swans had scored 6 goals before Brisbane could even make it into their own forward 50, finishing the first quarter with 121-56 disposals and 23-10 marks setting the tone for the rest of the afternoon
The Lions rallied in the second quarter to kick 3.2 only to be matched 3.4 by the Swans, despite the second quarter spark the Lions only managed another 1.3 in the third and 3.2 in the last being soundly beaten by the Swans 3.5 and 4.2 to win 17.13 (115) to 8.7 (55)
