Wonderful idea! Do they already have a naming rights sponsor for the draw announcement!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Our two pre-season matches will be: v GWS (Thurs Feb 20 @ Manuka Oval) and v WCE (Thurs Feb 27 @ Blacktown). Both games at 7.10pm.

    Sydney Swans @sydneyswans
Confirmed Fixture: The Sydney Swans will host Geelong on a Thursday night at the SCG to launch the AFL Indigenous Round in R11

Suddenly Thursday night footy seems in vogue!

    That'll be an interesting experiment.

According to Fox Sports, apparently the only top 6 sides we get twice are Hawthorn and Port.

Looks like no visit to Kardinia Park this year!

There's one fixture that I would of liked to go to, but no way can do a Thursday night game coming up from canberra.

Yay to seeing the Swannies play in Canberra again in pre season though

We play ESS, GWS, RIC, PTA, HAW twice. Hence no Geelong Skilled game next year. Woo!

That's a potentially ugly set of double up games, but equally potentially a good group of double ups.

Should also mean 5, even 6 potential games in Melbourne

Yep, without one of them being siphoned off to Geelong.

I think it's quite a fair list of double ups, considering where we finished this year.

    Thursday night? WTF?

    Is it a school night?

Not interested in finishing up something at 10.30pm downtown, having to hoof all the way home and then hoof back in for work 9 hours later.
