Thread: Membership numbers

    Membership numbers

Does anyone know if the membership numbers will be put up on the Swans website this year?
It would be nice to see that when you go to the website. I remember a few years ago there was a thermometer showing the number on the home page of the website. Was it last year that the numbers were only on the 'membership' page?

    Membership numbers

How pathetic are the Swans membership numbers so far for next year, port Adelaide is killing us. Thought we would be better than 18000

What's with the 'pathetic' talk? I hope that's sarcasm.

That is a strong membership figure for the swans given it isn't even 2014 yet or that NSW isn't really into memberships as much as the AFL states.

If the swans reach 40,000 and manage to maintain the number I will be over the moon.

With Buddy's inclusion and the media hype he will generate towards the lead-up to the start of the season, I would say we will achieve that figure.

Not sure why you're comparing us to Port Adelaide. When it comes to something like attendances we've absolutely creamed them since their inception.

Maybe I was expecting more and was a little disappointed but you are probably right in saying in nsw it is not bad.
