I think the way the Twos won this game was telling. they got out of the blocks and didn't let Lions into the game in the first half. someone asked how it was Aliir kicked a goal. If as it seems the ball was about 70% in our forward half it probably meant his opponent was flooding our forwardline so he most likely followed him down. the footage is interesting and shows our blokes tackling very hard, being generally hard at the ball & hitting players up on the lead or in space. They didn't just bomb into the forward fifty in hope. I like the way Crouchy coaches. I know he has to do most things as the Head coach dictates but he is allowed a little leeway and some of the ball movement is much better than we do in the seniors, especially when it comes to pushing the ball forward. Our Twos seem to be able to hit a player up, find a loose player, kick the ball to a forward's advantage in a marking contest. A pity our seniors can't do the same.

Probably because the pressure on them isn't as intense.

Interesting that Tower's performance was not mentioned but perhaps Laidler will be in for the Crows

Not up to your standards ugg, but they must feel the heat of you knocking on the door.

I wonder if the plan is to highlight a few players, or they will build to reporting on the whole squad in the future, as the Lions seem to do.
