Thought I'd watch the Hawks/Freo clash because even with both teams having lots of injuries it should have been a really ding dong go. Well so far it is just an exhibition of wonderful footy by the Hawks. Even if you hate Hawks you have to admire the way they play footy. Gee I'd love to have some of the NSW boys they have playing for them; Smith, Suckling, Breust & Langford. This has been an incredible half of footy by a team that basically has not got a third tall in the backline. In fact they have Spang back there they are that desperate. They have a lot of injuries including McEvoy going out before the game. But Freo are missing a lot of players too and don't seem to be able to cover them.
I glad we aren't playing Hawks until round Eight. If we played them now it wouldn't be pretty.
