That is being pretty harsh on the rest of the NEAFL Matt80. Plenty of the non AFL aligned teams have several ex-afl players. Having 8 or 9 places filled solely by topups, when your best top-ups aren't there surely must make a huge difference! You can't expect 2 players in a 22 man squad to 'carry the team', no matter the predigree of those particular players.

We lost our spot on top of the ladder though because UWS belted the Lions Reserves by 130 points

Next week is Belconnen away in Canberra.

Tom Mitchell in the bests, might get a call up for next week. Biggs should be playing AFL but not sure what we will do with him at years end now he has had his two years on the rookie list.

Ah, Matty, it doesn't work that way.

But what about Toby N and Naismith palming it down to Mitchell and ROK. They then would feed a handball to Towers on the burst who would delivers the ball straight to Membrey on the lead. Membrey would then slot the goals. If the ball gets into the Swans back line then Walsh and ROK would clear the ball.

    Is there something I missed?

Sorry meant Walsh and LRT would clear the ball.

Good to see Walsh make the best list. Would be nice if he did enough to get another year, even as a rookie (sure he can be delisted and no one would take him).

Highlights from 7:30 onwards but they are mostly Ainslie ones.

Doesn't work that way dude. Think back to Roosy's focus on the "bottom 6" of any AFL team. I've seen junior teams with a couple of guns be belted by teams with fewer stars but far more depth. A couple of key guys on the opposition team can tag the stars and then the rest can do as they please. You lose team cohesion, players who create space for others, strength from more mature bodies etc etc
Today's a draft of your epitaph

Not often that you see 45 disposals as the 2nd on the list. Holy batballs Biggs!

It's also unusual (though not unwelcome) to see the number one ruckman rack up 9 tackles.
