Shall we let this parallel universe run it's coarse?

If it's going to be a merger, let's hope it goes better than Demons/Hawks.

The scheduling of Swans Reserves matches complicates team selections it seems to me. I note that this week while the seniors play in Melbourne on Saturday night, the Reserves travel to Darwin to play at the same time. This makes the selection of emergencies difficult. I think I am right in saying that Derickx hasn't played a match for 3 weeks (twice an emergency plus the bye). So he really needs to play for the Reserves this week. But on the other hand it is risky to not have a ruckman as an emergency in case Pyke has a last minute injury or illness.

It seems my parallel universe has run into a black hole.

So to repeat myself. Given Hanners sounds very doubtful, they'll go with...

    IN : Tippett, Shaw

    OUT : Towers, B Jack

Sub : Rohan or Lloyd (Probably Rohan)

Emergencies will be interesting given the scheduling....

You'd think they will want Jones, Mitchell and Derrickx to play this weekend given their respective time off.

    Emg : Towers, Membrey, Hewitt

Got to have a ruckman as emergency so Derickx will be on the plane to Melbourne this week, play ressies next week.

    are we there yet.
Having a week off is so boring.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Derickx hasn't played any football in 4 weeks.

Derrickx is out injured 2-3 weeks with a hammy so no Tommy D. If we do take a ruckman to Melbourne it will be Sammy N and he will be the upgrade for Aliir. Played pretty well in the reserves last week apparently, BOG 35 HO, 22 disposals & 1 goal (goals were a rare occurrence last week at Kippax reserve).

According to Injury Update Hannas is not ready as yet and is still yet to train, still on running, but is expected to train Thursday.

Tip & Shaw both trained Tuesday and will also train Thursday. Would rather Rhyce played a reserves game just in case, he is an oldie you know.

Jones is ready and if we may have no Shaw but we still have a Zac.

To me Towers is an automatic out for Tip if he is fit.

I think BJ is probably the one to make way if there is someone else to go. Lloyd has been very consistent and some of his tackles have been game changing. I love the work Lloydy puts in to impact the contest, he runs, runs ,runs andf tackles, chases, tackles, chases and looks for the second or third receiver and targets them. Smart kid that one.

Nanko is also listed as Test, so he can perhaps be the emergency ruckman. We can probably go with just Tippett and Reid anyway.

the emergency ruckman choice will be interesting then, with no Derickx available.
