Round 18: Sydney Swans Reserves v Brisbane Lions Reserves

Sorry folks but I am having withdrawal. I have waited all day for Ugg to post the Ressies preview. I am not going to attempt to do an Ugg preview, it would be impossible. Thank you Ugg you are marvellous. But I wanted to get the Ressies going ASAP as we play in a few hours.

The younuns take on Lions tonight so let's hope the 'Lion sleeps tonight'. Leuenberger, Paparone, Raines and Polkinghorne are all playing for the Lions. They have been very poor this season and sit tenth on the NEAFL ladder. But in recent weeks the Lions Seniors have had a resurgence and the reserves have improved too.

Into our side come Tom Mitchell and BJ. We have more experience with Pebbles, LRT, BJ, Mitchell, Tommy Walsh, Xav Richards, Biggsie all having at least one senior game. It should be a very good game but I think with our mix of experience and youth we will win the day.

Interesting to see Jackson Kelly get a game for the reserves. Wonder if they have their eye on him as a FS - probably a rookie list option more than a main list option.

Thank you Liz. I am going to be watching the Twos. If anyone wants to catch uo for a coffee, beer and chat call me on 0409 602 310. I will be somewhere near the Brewery Bar & Members bar. They have a coffee stand right near there and food too. It's Tony by the way.

    +1. Onya Wolfie.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Neither membrury nor laiidler in reserve team and David Schwartz on sen is reporting membrury is replacing franklin in selected side. Any other stations reporting anything?

    Us 9.11.65
    Lions 4.14.38

A pretty good performance from us from what I saw from the second quarter onwards.

The standout for me was George Hewett. He had a ripper game and could easly play a role in the ones right now. Very composed in traffic and pretty clean. He's a good 'un....

Ah it was number 49 was it? Didn't mind him at all

Loved number 50. Interesting build on a kid.

Loved George. Agree jono, fearce. Maybe a bit of experience shy of a seniors gig, but a keeper definitely.
Mitchell played the first half like he had something to prove.

Interesting to watch BJ out there. A cut above, that's for sure.

LRT ..... no. However I want it recorded that BL Hayden Bertoli-Simmonds 45 is a jerk. Hasn't played a game let along 3 grannies has he, but he was laying into LRT, who more or less ignored him, but I worry for his kidneys.
Peb....... I am going to be painfully honest. Yes he is still good. But 'good' isn't great....... there I have said it.

McVeigh is the best decision maker/ball user in our side. Hewett is his successor.
