Anyone know where I can watch a replay?
Thanks Liz for your overview; much appreciated.
Sounds like a gutsy affort from the twos - even Coach Crouch might be pleased!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
We had 8 toppies in today. Seven were named in the record but with George Hewett not starting that brought one more in. Think of it this way, UWS have the GWS list to choose from, they are their reserves. They have 45 players on their list and they should always be a top side, same with Suns, pity about them. So in fact UWS have a definite advantage over our side and we had some injuries. Aliir, AJ, Perris & Derrickx all on the long term list. Hewett didn't start maybe due to the seniors having a doubt over a player. So we were down the other lynch pin in our midfield. This effort today by these young blokes was even better when you realise that UWS had Josh Hunt, Kurtly Hampton, Dylon Addison & Johnathan Giles playing. A top win with so many young Academy blokes playing. The kids were good, very good.
Who was number 51.
He was very good from the little I saw of the game.
Tom Walsh continues to play well. His big body may be valuable on the list in 2015 as a Richards or Grundy backup in key defence. Tom is very important now with LRTs retirement.
Does anyone know Tom or know if he wants to stay in Australia in 2015?
Hypothetically. If we had all senior and rookie listed players available, would Heeney, Mills, Davies and Hiscox be able to win a spot in the reserves on form over listed players?
I was watching Game Day on 7 and the ribbon had: UWS 11.11.77 def Sydney Swans 11.12.78. Freudian slip by someone?
