I do understand the desire to be close to family and home, but I also think it's a bit ridiculous when most footballers careers are over by age 30, 35 tops. There's plenty of time to go home after that.

I sat up in the 3rd tier, surrounded by Saints fans. No-one booed Goodes especially - he copped the same amount of abuse as every other Swans player. I guess that's a good thing?

I agree that this issue is pretty much dead (or maybe dormant). The racists are getting their fix by posting comments on news sites, and footy fans are focussed on the finals. Booing is so yesterday!

I'm loving that this Goodesy thread is on page 37 (in my view).

What a champ. I'll miss him when he's gone and hope he eeks out one more year of that resilient body even if just to help extract something extra out of the magnificent potential in our current and imminent young ones.

At work, we have to log in to administration software to record our notes for the day(I'm in aged care), and my first password was Swans05, a good place to start! We have to change it monthly, so I just add 1 to my password ie; Swans06, Swans07 etc. During the latest round of 'controversy' post Lewis Jetta's dance, my password had arrived at Swans37. I was quite happy about that! Coincidence, yes, but also a positive sign
