We desperately need a couple of reserves players to really step up this season, there's a great opportunity for Naismith if he's good enough

McLaren looks like he could be a handy tall forward at NEAFL level. He has played well up forward thus far.

I noticed that he did not record a tackle. What is his defensive pressure like?

The key forwards in the seniors are nailing up to 8 tackles a game.

Can McLaren develop that aspect of his game?

Just browsing through the 2015 NEAFL rules and regulations, I note that our listed players restrictions has been relaxed to 20 listed players.

Finals are still capped at 15 listed players.

Thanks for that ugg - looks as if the powers that be are paying more attention to the wider interest in the games.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Aliir picked up 10 MVP votes
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Extraordinary. And Tom Mitchell got 2.

Up to 8 tackles for the senior guys? Technically McLaren's 0 tackles still satisfies your up to 8 tackle criteria

Which begs the question, did our coaches vote for Mitchell or was it the Ainslie coaches?

Tippett had only had a total of 15 tackles from his 14 games last year. He'll never make it.
