Round 2 Port Adelaide v Swans

No changes for either side. Subs are Matt White and Adam Goodes!

The sub choices work well for the Swans. Cunningham probably would have gotten a tagging role on White, so Port have gone with Monfries to start instead. I think he's a players that Laidler can match up on, if we choose to do that. Malceski often got the that assignment. You can run off Monfries and be 3rd man up.

I thought it might be Goodes as the sub, and it's probably the right choice. Maybe that will be his best role this year.

I've gotta be honest. This one has me nervous.

It's going to be a real tussle.

A much better start than last week. It looks like a different team.

EDIT: the pressure has been fantastic from Sydney!

I love it when Jetta gets the swagger going.

Good start by the Swans - can they keep it up for 3 more quarters???

Interesting to see what people read into the Goodes as sub situation.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

    That's more like it....
I wish they had turned up like this in the Granny...
Hope they can maintain this pressure.

Looking good so far, but of course, they're famous last words.
Tippett and Pyke are winning in the ruck; especially over Redden.
Teddy going well in his 200th for the Swans.
Parker has been strangely quiet; can't see that lasting.

Wow what a quarter! The pressure from both sides was amazing. I love watching games like this.

Entries into our forward line need to improve.

    Can't complain about Jetta today.

    Midfield is playing well.

The start was so quick after Never Tear Us Apart. Kochie and the Farriss brothers were still on the ground!
