    Goodesy to play ressies?

    Really?
I think I'd prefer him as sub.
    What a waste of talent.

Goodes to play reserves, rather than be Swans' sub - AFL.com.au
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Talent may get old, but Goodesy won't!!
    I know it's his choice.
I'd still rather see him come on as a sub and be a headache to someone's coach.

You can't hang on forever.... hopefully some ressies football will help him pick his touch up and run into some form. In the end, it sounds like it was his decision.

With opposition as good as the Hawks are now (and Freo looking ominous as well), we can't afford to carry anyone in our best 22 if we are to win the flag. We know the classy footballer Goodesy is, and hopefully he can show he is still part of our best 22 players and worthy of his spot in the team.

Good to see the club is thinking about the team standards - our game is based on pressure not one of Adams strengths - good clubs make the right decisions

He'll lose match fitness very quickly if he continues as a sub and by that time you can't pick him at all just in case he does have to play a full game.

I think it's the right decision. He'll probably be back when either Tippo or Buddy have a niggle that warrants them being rested. Goodesy is a champion, but even champions age.

Does every body think it was totally HIS choice?

Sounds a bit contrived to me.

You may be right, however, Horse is pretty strait forward and says it as it is. I believe that this was Adam's choice and it makes total sense to get a game in, even though it is in the seconds. He will bounce back this year then he will retire.

Will play but as Kelly said wont as a dominant influence , really think he should have retired . Its not right, that he embarrass himself ,its ROK all over again . Cant someone tap them on the shoulder . Both made mistakes !
