A "that'll do" kind of win.

I don't see it that way. I thought he played well tonight, albeit as a wing/chf/mid. Unselfish (to a fault?) and laid a good number of blocks/shepherds.

Goodsey does look inflexible, seems that he's no good when the balls below his hips.

Longmire definitely was mixing up the combinations though tonight - I mean Teddy and Kennedy were playing FF for a while in the game - Buddy definitely played up the ground more, which meant Tippett got more attention when it came to goals, etc.

Talk about winning ugly ... not impressed by much at all ... plus the worst commentary team in the business ... going to bed quite unsatisfied.

Did you see Mitchell's interview with Ling, pulled out the cliche's. I think he forgot to say "it was a game of two halves".

Agree. 22 possessions, put on lots of pressure. No disgrace.

Huh? Commentary much better than Dwayne Pipe. I even didn't mind BT tonight, except when they started to get off topic. No references to frees Melbourne should have received or ones we shouldn't have. Disappointing last quarter but they did put the cue in the rack.

Yeah. Or rather , "that'll just about do" kind of win.
Oh well , we did enough early , won at the MCG and didn't concede much.

Yes, probably quite a good game by Buddy; though a goal or two may have woken up the game a bit.
And according to Tom Harley, the Heeney injury is probably a PCL. Not great news, but obviously better than an ACL
