Fun gone out of game for players

An article on AFL.com.au by Chris Scott about great players not having fun playing anymore. This article is primarily about Joel Selwood but not exclusively.

Do you think he is not having as much fun now because:-
    1. Geelong is not on top of the heap anymore (he hardly lost a game in how many years)
    2. He is getting older
    3. He certainly takes a beating every game he plays and apparently he bleeds vey easily as his skin is paper thin.

    Oh poor Joel,

Ask a Melbourne player about having fun playing.

Winning is what makes playing footy fun. If youve ever had anything to do with footy either played, coached or watched as a parent, the best times a player has is when the team is winning.
