    Laidler out. We're doomed.

Great to see Birdy back and Nankervis is only going to get better with every game.

Pretty flat that they've left Heeney in the 2s. Wouldn't have minded seeing Hewett instead of Bird either...they may have a tagging job in mind for Craig though.

Roughead is back for the Hawks in place of Duyrea.

Any idea why Laidler is out?

The Hawks have gone really tall, wouldn't be surprised to see a late change on Saturday evening

Pretty happy with those changes. Pyke was clearly not right and we can't afford to continue to carry him. Would have preferred Heeney instead of B. Jack but completely understand giving him another week given his age. Plus Brandon has had a good few weeks in the 2s. I suspect Bird will be given basically one task and that will be to shut down Mitchell as far as possible.

Surprised they picked BJ instead of Heeney - but I guess they'll probably want Heeney running into some consistent good form and be 100% happy with his fitness before picking him again in the seniors.

Bird may spend some time in a forward pocket as well - certainly did late on in the game against Eastlake in ressies a few weeks ago, to pretty good effect. Whatever happens, someone needs to be crumbing from Buddy, Tip and Nankervis.
