Newman looks very efficient with the ball in hand - to debut this week!

Heeney's stats are impressive, 11 tackles to go with all the other stuff.

Mills, 15 in a quarter, that's Tom Mitchell pace!

Mills 20 disposals in a half, 15 in the last quarter
Great to hear Newman using the ball very efficiently. I have hopes that he will become part of our seniors 22 sooner rather than later, if he can get his body right and get some consistent football going.

20 touches and 7 marks in your first half of footy for the season is pretty ridiculous, regardless of opposition.

Good to see the Toppies get amongst the goals

    Questions.
    1. Can the toppies nominate for the ND
    2. Can we take a toppie in the Rookie Draft without them nominating for the ND? (or would that be draft tampering?)

Other thing to take from those stats is veale knows how to find the ball. He impressed me a few weeks ago against eastlake down here - one to keep an eye on.

I agree, his numbers have been looking good the last couple of weeks, although haven't seen him play twos in the flesh.
He played all his junior footy alongside Mills

    1. Yes, if they are 18 or older by the end of this year.
    2. No. Players can't pick and choose their drafts (except for those just delisted or out of contract who can nominate just for the PSD and skip the ND).
