That play by Heeney before Reid's missed goal was obscenely good

Agreed, he is the only one who can deliver cleanly to forwards, would be an irreplacable blow

Brandon Jack is playing some game. Good clean possessions and is in everything in close. Having a real go.

Heeney does one thing really well...he keeps his eye on the ball.

I thought BJ had been OK defensively in his last 2 outings, but tonight he's getting a lot more of the ball.

Goodes has been this way for years now. I heard one commentator explain it best a year or so a go by saying he's playing "weird football". Nobody seems to know what he's doing (including himself I believe). Agree we need to sign Jetta now! He has been brilliant the last month. Looking good so far considering Goodes and Nankervis struggling at times. Hopefully they can turn it around for a big 2nd half!

Yep I agree, he's been great. The future looks bright in terms of mids. If Mills is as good as they say, I can't wait to see how e goes next year.

We should sub out Nankervis asap. He's really giving us nothing. There's no way he's going to outmark any of the Cat defenders, and he's so slow. I thought it was a poor choice at selection since the Cats really don't have a ruckman. You can't beat them with long balls to Taylor. You have to beat them with speed and quick ball movement.

Don't know what's happened to Lloyd's kicking tonight. Must have left it in Sydney.

I was wrong about Shaw. He's really been playing well the past few weeks.

We are moving the ball quick and sharply nonetheless. I like the way we are playing atm.

I agree about Goodes, he can't pass the ball tonight.

What has happened to Lloyd? We used to applaud his disposal and his composure but he has lost it.

And can I just say again that I love Heeney ????.

The Lloyd disposal has been an issue all year ... if he can't pick this up he is not worth a spot. Jetta is magic at the moment.

This time last year we were saying that Lloyd's kicking was immaculate. Funny how these things change, Sydney seem to breed skills out of our midfielders
