I went to Henson yesterday expecting a blowout, but it turned out to be anything but. Penno put up a real fight against East Coast and had their chances to steal the game. In the end East Coast got through, but they were made to work for it.
Balmain going down in Div 1 - if they get to the Grand Final, Jarjoura's suspension will be up and he'll be free to play. But they have to get there first, and that means winning the Prelim without him.

And our first two premiership cups have been decided. Gosford edging out Penrith in a thriller in Womens Div 2, while UTS were far too strong for UNSW-ES in Div 5.

Two of their stars hit blokes with cheap shots, both rubbed out for an elimination final...team loses. You'd be dirty if you were involved with Manly wouldn't you ?
They are nominees for the "Luke Jarjoura team-player of the week" award.

too many party boys this season, and not enough serious footballers like Connor, Tyrone and Robbo.

A lot was made of Manly losing Benbow and Fowler, but no mention of St George losing Addison and Rixon.

The Dragons coaching staff have their young side playing with self belief, and the way they went about it, doubt that two inclusions, as good as they are, would have made a difference to the outcome.

Should be a serious contest again next week, we just have to hope that the umpires stop attempting to bounce the ball for the centre restarts ... OMG, don't they ever practice!!!?

Just highlights what a magnificent job the AFL did in the development of the Bankstown Sports Bombers.
