    Couldn't agree more.

Fantastic news, love it! The only thing that could make it better is if the VFL didn't approve!

The politics of this move are brilliant if you want to have a look through Machiavellian lenses.

Stuart Dew is the air apparent to Longmire. Now Kirk comes to in to challenge Dew for that status.

While Dew and Kirk compete hard for the next in line status, Longmire gets a few more years at the top.

If your a CEO and another executive is building a case as your successor you bring in another executive to compete against the clear successor. While there competition goes on you continue to run the company and people now don't know who the clear successor is. It buys you more time in the CEO job.

This view is only through a Machiavellian lense.

    All hail Kirk the Inspirer.
Inspiration is what he's bringing home with him.
    Happiest news all season.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

    Just his air

    (Sorry, couldn't resist)
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.
