Where did you get that information from. I don't know how he'd go against Kennedy, Mitchell and Parker. I don't have any numbers, but he doesn't look any slower than those guys.

all run 14 seconds for 100m me thinks

no stats just watching him and the others play

They would be the last picked for the 4 x 100m relay Swans team...........except maybe Reg or the Tip

but the point is you are lucky enough to have 3 slow midfielders in a team......we have 4 already - Macca, JK, Parks and Tom

to have 5 or 6 would be very challenging

You should read the thread about Tyrell Mayfield, because when this kid joins the club, the other 17 out there can be tortoises and it won't matter.

Scenarios ( I hope my maths is alright)

    SWANS AFL DRAFT 2015 Points - 2198

    The draft depends on .

Pick 1 - Mills 2400 All 2015 Picks/Points and Swans have to burn 202 points from 2016 Draft. No Dunkley and another rookie upgraded NAISMITH and ???

Pick 2 Mills 2014 - All 2015 Picks/Points and Swans have to burn 16 points from 2016 Draft. No Dunkley and another rookie upgraded and ???

Pick 3 Mills 1787 Picks 33, 36, 37 and partial 44, Swans will have a live pick at 54 and most likely upgraded to mid to late 40s and another selection for us appears around pick 62 before other Academy picks with Brisbane (Schache with pick 2) burning a lot of picks from 38 to 42 if Keays, Hipwood and Chol if there are early picks and GWS burning picks for Hopper, Kennedy and maybe Himmelberg.
Swans - 288 points plus 123 (411) from Mills pick. Draft picks upgraded depending on Academy selection points. (Can now match pick 31 for Dunkley or later without any upgrade)

Pick 4 Mills 1644 same as before Pick 3 but another selection for us appears around pick 50. (Can now match pick 26 for Dunkley or later without any upgrade)
Swans - 288 points plus 266 (544) from Mills pick

Pick 5 Mills 1502 Now just picks 33, 36, 37 and another selection around pick 70.

The above only regards to Dunkley and if Dunks Jnr does not select us or a early pick that will not be matched, then what can we do?

Picks 1 and 2 means no other selection with NAISMITH and other Rookie upgrade.

Picks 3 and 4 means next pick is 54, likely upgraded to about 45-49. Whats available?

Pick 5 means next pick is 44 likely upgraded to mid to late 30s Whats available?

Just some contenders in a Phantom draft

    25. Nick OKearney Calder Cannons (Midfielder 181cm/70kgs)
    26. Luke Partington Norwood (Midfielder 182cm/76kgs)
    27. Aidyn Johnson Bendigo Pioneers (Forward/Midfielder 185cm/75kgs)
    28. Bailey Rice Dandenong Stingrays (Midfielder 185cm/81kgs) (F/S)

    55. Matthew Allen Glenelg (Key Forward 194cm/97kgs)
    56. Gach Nyuon Dandenong Stingrays (Ruckman 202cm/83kgs)
    57. Kieran Lovell Kingston (Midfielder 174cms/76kgs) (Swans spoke to Lovell)
Another 15 centimetres taller and he would be in the top 10 without a doubt. A natural footballer who gets his own ball and uses it brilliantly. Elite pace and fitness for this stocky, hard working ball magnet who could easily develop into a gun. Wouldnt surprise to see him go mid second round.
    58. Tom Wallis Calder Cannons (Midfielder 183cm/72kgs)
    59. Alex Morgan Oakleigh Chargers (Defender 181cm/80kgs)
    60. Darcy MacPherson Northern Knights (Forward 177cm/69kgs)

    What are we looking for?

Isn't Wayne Milera a top 10 or 15 prospect? Rioli will go first round maybe early second Hibberd also early second round.

If we did speak to Lovell he would be a good addition he's got speed agility goal sense

Unfortunately I couldn't find the AFL Top 50 and trawled through to find the next best. Milera could be a Top 10. Rioli was just a 20-40 player but the name and combine results have rocketed up. Hawks might him at 15 or 18.

We have to pick at least three players, and only one rookie upgrade can count towards this. In any case, with the delisting of Marsh, we will enter the draft with 34 on the senior list and we have to have at least 38. So that means at least four players to be added, of which Naismith will be one.

Does that mean that if MILLS goes 1st pick, and we match it, then will still have to pick up 2 more players at pick 90 or somehting like that? Also only 1 rookie upgrade counts for the draft but can you do upgrade others and then count them, e.g. NEWMAN, on the senior list meaning only 2 picks with NAISMITH.

We can still add players from the PSD or delisted players.

It's a bit difficult to work out where our later picks will end up. There are so many permutations, especially with places moving up to fill the slots left by multiple academy picks.

I also like Kieran Lovell as a late pick. Oleg Markov, the son of pole vaulter Dmitri, was passed over last year. He's a tall skinny kid who's a good athlete and can kick the ball a long way. Reminds me a bit of Dean Towers, so perhaps we have enough of that. Mitch Brown, the former Geelong defender, may also be a good late pickup to further add to our key defender depth.

Whats the difference between a "depth player" and a "list clogger" ?
