Changes for Rnd 5 V West Coast

    Outs. Nankervis
    Ins. Sinclair?

I hope Papley gets another chance although I don't think there is room for him and Benny in the same team.
I'd drop Richards if we had anyone to replace him with.

Benny was very good I thought. Would you drop him and keep Papley?

Yep, Teddy was a step behind tonight.

It was a new experience for Papley. He'll learn from it. Who comes in for him? Not Jack. Rose quieter today. Reckon Rohan more a threat to McGlynn.

Nankervis was good tonight. Has the courage and smarts.

Probably not. It will be interesting to see what happens there.

Can't see Richard getting better/returning to old form

Keep Papley and Mcglynn in the same team. Both have great defensive pressure in the forward line but Benny also pinch hits in the midfield. So to keep Papley in the forward line is a good idea I think.

    OUT: Nankervis, Robinson
    In: Sinclair, Jones

I did like Nankervis tonight, great follow up work and tackles, couple of good grabs but Sinclair being out tonight could've really made the difference.

    Ins

    Sinclair if ready
    Jones
    Hewitt

    Out

    Nankervis
    Towers
    Papley

    Notes

Papley will be starting to fatigue. Give him modified game time in the reserves.

Love to see Mills spend time forward with Heeney. Great mark and kick.

McVeigh could spend time forward to accommodate Jones.

Can't believe it that no one has mentioned Towers as an out, was a weak link tonight

Wow, we lost a game that could have gone either way and people want to make 3 changes?

I agree Ted, Papley and Towers had an off night, but all 3 have played good games this year.

My only change would be Sinclair for Nankervis, although I thought Toby played well

OUT : Towers ... He plays like a startled hare.
Nankervis...played really well last night and will get more opportunities no doubt

IN : Rose ... Much more of a threat, always busy.
Sinclair... Hopefully he's fit to take on his old side. He brings mobility and he's a forward 50 threat.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

I agree that nankervis played his part but I thought that sinclairs absence was the difference between us winning and losing that game. Papley has been crumbing brilliantly off Sinclair and that was largely responsible for papleys quiet night. Towers was average I agree. I think he makes way for Reid when he returns but not yet. Towers has also played better when Sinclair was in the team.

    My changes:
    IN: Sinclair
    OUT: Nankervis

If Kieren jack needs a rest after his head knocks then I would play hewett for him. I would really like to get hewett back into the team as his disposal efficiency and silky skills across half back and midfield were a noticeable benefit in the first two games
