    Swans TV

    Red & White News - April 20, 2016 - sydneyswans.com.au

its been a journey last few years

now we have a polished news reader style host in Loretta Johns who speaks professionally and seems a nice person on swanstv

i don't really connect with this style of hosting to be honest - i much prefer the more relaxed informal style of interviewing for Swans TV

    thoughts anyone ?

Nup, I don't care for that style at all. Too much like a news report, very sterile. Loretta sounds like any other face on a news broadcast, we want someone with enthusiasm, someone who sounds like they love the team like we do.

Already tuned out alas. At least we're maintaining the "obviously" ratio. I miss the physio (Matt?) doing the injury report (not brought to you by Centrum) and why we need someone prompting the team selection discussion I don't know. Does the "current online team" mean we've lost Jenny?

I hope not. I think Jenny is more aligned to 'membership' than 'comms'.

Is Matt the physio still involved with the club?

He's still listed on the Swans' staffing list:

Head Physiotherapist & Rehabilitation Coordinator: Matt Cameron

(And I too miss Matt - loved his dry video presentations).

    And is this 'our' Jenny?:

Senior Manager - Customer Experience: Jenny Thompson

I dont mind it as weekly roundup news style.

Happy for the rest of the vids to be generally casual.

He was in Adelaide last weekend in the team hotel, so it appears he still is...
