Nankervis starts q4 up front and takes a nice mark on hia chest 40 out after some nice work in the lead up by o'riordan. Makes no mistake to get his 2nd. Swans 131 demons 25 4th minute last term.

Lovely weaving run from wilson in heavy traffic on the wing beating 3 or 4 before delivering forward - he has done some nice stuff.

Leonardis defending well in tandem with newman at the other end.

Goal to demons on the run after foote misses laidler with an easy hand pass in the defensive 50. Swans 131 demons 31 9th minute 4th quarter.

Richards with his 3rd after outmuscling his defender nicely 15 out directly in front. O'Riordan good in close in the lead up. Swans 137 demons 31 13th minute

Wilson and Foote both miss good set shot chances. Bj kicks poorly to waste a chance for galloway i think to be 1 on 1 with his defender.

After a huge barrell torpedo out of defence, demons transfer ball well and kick goal on the run.

Demons get another despite a great smother from newman aftet poor marking in the d50.

    Swans 140 demons 43 19th minute.

Nice 1 handed grab under pressure from dawson but sprays kick across goal. Swans overusing the ball a fair bit in a scrappy last quarter from our perspective.

And thats all she wrote. Scrappy last half dozen minutes with final score swans 140 demons 43. Second half a bit disappointing to be honest, didnt really go on with it and demons fought hard.

I know the opposition was weak but sounds like we have some difficult list management problems at years end with a number of players showing real promise this year. Rhyce Shaw as coach seems to be working wonders.

Thanks for the commentary mcs, appreciate your time, cheer cheer

Yes, thanks for your efforts MCS. And just out of idle curiosity, is anyone else barracking for Collingwood at the moment?

Doing what I've never done before, barracking for them hard! The Pies winning gives us a game break on GWS but with several teams pressing we need to win every game from here to finish top two. Richmond and Dogs result may haunt us, a flag or not could rest on those dumb results :-(

Thanks ugg and mcs - much appreciated.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Yes, I even mildly cheered a couple of Travis Cloke marks. Now I feel just a little bit unclean.
