    Sam Reid Surgery

Sammy to have surgery on his Achilles tomorrow. Harley still talking about playing, perhaps this year! (Reid, not Harley!)

"Post surgery Sam will immediately begin rehabilitation and then we will review his progress to running and skills.

"A final decision regarding Sam's potential to play this season will be made in the coming weeks."

What a waste of money Reid has turned out to be. More injury prone than Mumford.

    We should just trade him.

Hope we just focus on getting him right for next year. He'll be important when he's back, but I'd scrub this year.

Collingwood will pounce once he has had the operation. They are desperate for a tall forward. Their problem will be he is a worse kick for goal than Cloke.

As a side issue, who'd be interested in Cloke?

No one would take Cloke. For a guy that has spent a lot of time in close proximity to Eddie, he always seems like a decent character.
It just looks like he is done as a footballer.
Sam Reid has been pretty unlucky, but still has a few petrol tickets left I reckon.

Freo might in PSD or for 4th round pick with Pavlich retiring at the end of this season. They took Gumbledon, Sylvia, have previously tried to get Mitch Clark and Cloke when they were top dollar. They need support for Cam McCarthy (if they get him) and their other key forwards with under 20 games (Apeness and Taberner) plus Ballyntine has requested to be traded.
