If the number sold really is 34,000 so far, that is a pass mark at this point, and I would think the split is something like....

    Swans 25,000
    GWS 5,000
    ANZ 4,000

    lol.
Almost as amusing as your inability to add up to 34,000

As usual, you take every potential possibility to take broad pot shots at those people that put their hard earned $$$ behind their team in the best way possible - by being members of our great club. Seems to be strange behaviour from someone who, despite his obvious first love of the 'grand old lady', has plenty of time to spend on a Swans based forum on the internet commenting on all things associated with the club.

I'd say the GWS number is probably a little higher and the swans number a little lower, but that you probably aren't far off the mark.

Give this a try, it could be the best footy you watch all year!

EJ Whitten Legends Game - AFL.com.au

Or if you need a laugh Luffy, Schwass, Bolts, Kennelly and LRT are pulling on the boots again.

    Oh and Big Bad Barry!

and of course there's the Ressies to cheer on as well.
    I'll watch the Legends game.
I thought the NEAFL was over for the year?
    There's a ressies game???
    Where?
    When?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

MCS, you are hyper-senstive to this issue. My numbers were based on the historical record.

ANZ Members: Its an event, big turnout.
GWS Members: A fair proportion of the their 15,000 members at this stage, bouyed by the thrill of first final, and the location suiting their existing travel arrangements.
Swans Members: Based on ratio that turned up to #lolnorf final, extrapolated with data from here of the increased hatred of ANZ since that time, and general declining numbers to ANZ in general for swans games, and the fact that their is guaranteed an SCG coming up 1 or 2 weeks later.

Fact based opinions. Not emotional twaddle.

In the late 90s I met the guy whose company had just won the paving contract for ANZ Stadium and the surrounding area. He was a very happy chap but even him with his multi million dollar
new contract didn't appear to love the stadium as much as Baz does. So with the last AFL game about to be played there, it's likely this is a very emotional time for Baz.
Though I must admit I do know a number of Eastern Subs & Inner West dwelling Swans members who start feeling a little woozy and light headed once they get past about Concord.

Sorry Barry. Fact based on opinion is akin to constructing a high rise building on a thick foundation of fairy floss

Not emotional twaddle there ... just pure twaddle

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
