Yes, and there's something about the way that he parts his hair that irrirritates me.

So is it all over? Do we still have Tippett? When does Fyfe arrive? Is JOM on the plane to Sydney yet? Did Mitchell re sign?
Well that was 10 days of our lives we'll never get back.

I'm not really sure if he got to 100 possessions, let alone 100 games? Actually, he may not have got to 100 hitouts?

Since you've been giving the impression that you know what you're talking about: where do you think Tony Olango will fall in the draft? On the upside: a huge amount of athletic ability for a ruckman, with a particularly impressive leap. The downside: a range of concerning injuries, with a bout of osteitis pubis being the main concern.

100 games? He'd have been lucky to have got 100 minutes on the ground with us! Where is he these days?

That's really a glass half empty attitude. We just got a top ten pick for goodness sake!

So what's everyone's guess we will do now

Especially taking into account Towers and X ?

    Who will be rookies ?

My guess would be that X will return to the fold, after a few embarrassing moments, of possibly claiming that he never really wanted to leave. With Towers, I suspect that he'll be on our list next year, as we seemed to have made no effort to trade him.

How is it half empty? Its great we have a top 10 pick I agree with you. Was just saying we shouldn't over value players on one or two attributes they have like their speed or where they come from.

Plus our history or picking 1 round players is rubbish

2002 McVeigh (who people still aren't sold on) pick5 good selection,
    2003 Josh Willoughby pick 16,
    2006 Daniel O'Keefe pick 15,
    2007 Patrick Veszpremi pick 11,
    2008 Lewis Johnston pick 12,
2009 was ok Rohan pick 6 overvalued must be said and Jetta pick 14,
2010 Technically not first round but Jed Lamb pick 21
    2012 Dean Towers Pick 22
2013 Zac Jones pick 15 was a good choice

Yeah I know that rule but as I said - "think about a ruckman" - if there is a good 'un I'd be prepared to use our second pick. Personally I don't think Sinclair will be long term and Tippett isn't getting any younger.

Its a waste of time drafting an 18 year old ruckman as the risk is too great that they'll either be a bust, or they'll get poached while waiting for an opening. Presumably we'll look for a cheap back up (either state league or delisted) as our break in emergency 4th option.

Not sure we're desperate for KPD either, not with our early picks anyway. Reg may only have a couple of years in him but with Allir, Talia and Reid, that's 4 solid options, and Davis and Melican developing in the reserves. Its also a position that you seem to be able to pick up a good mature age option.

I'm hoping we go with a couple of speedy line breaking onballers/flankers with above average foot skills
Yes I think you are right - I forgot about Talia. Personally I don't think Reid will make is as a backman but a lot of people thought that about his brother too.

I don't think Davis will make it - only seen him a couple of times but not very impressed. We definitely need speed but only if they can use the ball well.

Mills, Heeney and Mitchell are pretty much first rounders

I think McVeigh has been worth it, but his last yr or 2 has been iffy which is fair enough in his old age. But when compared to the rest of the top 10 of the 2002 draft he's done pretty good with only Andrew Mackie, Brendan Goddard and maybe Wells being better
