Hutchy mentioned on Footy Classified tonight about swans and O'Meara...
hard to say how much to read into it, however he also predicted that Buddy could end up at the swans and he was mocked for that...

So could be something there...Mitchell to Suns - O'Meara to Swans....

As long as it isn't the Hawks.

Mitchell apparently turned down a big offer from the Suns several months ago so I would say this is pure speculation.

Anthony Hudson on the Superfooty podcast yesterday said he had mail that Mitchell to the Suns was not out of the question...

If we don't win this year, Mitchell may stay around - can't see the Suns premiership window opening for a while.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

I wouldn't feel so bad about Mitchell leaving if he went to the Suns.... far preferable then to the wees and poos.

What about if the suns had a year like GWS?

They aren't Hawthorn and they aren't the plastics. That is good enough for me at this point.

Getting O'Meara would certainly add a different dimension to our midfield.
Not sure how we would work it financially. Do you think Mitchell plus our first round pick would interest them enough?

One good thing that has come out of GWS arriving, is we can re-use all the "AFL love child" -type insults we used to cop, against them.

What goes around, comes around. Watch out plastics!
