31 came off the wing and looks to have blocked / bumped front on and collected Jones in the head.
Reid was right behind jones and seems to have been hit by Jones' head.
Btw was one of the commentators from Marn Grook?

[QUOTE=barry;708329]Rather than remove riverina zone of its that contentious . Why not just divi it up between swans and giants.

I don't think the Riverina should be overly contentious, the NRL is pretty strong there.
And I'm more than happy with our zone and for GWS to have the Riverina . But if we have to lose a bit of our zone (e.g. the South Coast) to accommodate new zonings then I guess we'd have to cop that but realistically GWS should be able to get plenty of talent from the ACT and Western Sydney if they are serious about it.
I just think the border towns and the "Deep South" below Wagga are pretty hard to argue as they are AFL dominated.
Here you go voodoo: TubeChop - Chop YouTube Videos
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
I think academies are as much for player retention add anything else.hense why all of NSW should be included.
The list of plays who have left GWS would be a top 8 side. They have a massive retention problem masked by recent good results.
He was good at times, stating the bleeding obvious at others, making completely illogical comments at some stages (such as saying the Swans being 2 down on the bench in the last would have no impact on the team) and openly barracking for the Giants at others. I found him a bit tedious, and he said some stupid things - but I enjoy the amateur nature of the NEAFL coverage, its a pleasant change from the dribble we get to here from the majority of the AFL commentators.

I think this is true to an extent in that they allow NSW/QLD clubs at risk of the "go home factor" a way of guarding against that by building home grown lists.
But I also think the development side and growing the player pool to accommodate a larger comp is the main reason.
I'd question how much loyalty a kid from Albury will have to GWS. I have no doubt a kid from Campbelltown or Penrith that has come through their academy would have huge loyalty.
It is in GWS's interest to develop and get Sydney kids on their list asap but right now there is no incentive to do so if they can just mine a ready made football district.
We can debate this all day long but I think there is no way the GWS zone won't be addressed by the AFL, I just hope the system as a whole is not destroyed in a knee-jerk reaction. If idiots like Eddie had their way the whole thing would be abolished entirely
