A small moment to share with you from our GF day
In the week ahead of the Grand Final, I decided to make contact with our rivals, the woofers, over at Whitten Oval Online Forum to wish them well. I found them in the midst of a frantic search for tickets. The owner, BT, had rallied the forum to ensure tickets for every member who had missed out, under the banner 'leave no woofer behind'. It was quite an effort - roll calls 2-3 times a day, ticket swaps to get friends/family together. They managed to pull it off by the Wednesday - everyone active of their forum got a ticket. We met before the game to share a few beers. For us, this, and the good spirit the Doggies supporters brought to the finals series, took a bit of the edge of a pretty depressing loss. Put the Hawthorn supporters of 2014 and 2012, and to a lesser extent the Eagles supporters of 2005 and 2006 to shame.

And I guess we waited 72 years, they waited 62 years. Here are the guys from WOOF, me in the middle, BT (who runs woof) to my left.
