Particularly shown to be crazy last week in the Cats v North game, where the Cats nominated no one to contest a number of ball ups that resulted from stoppages in play. You basically had the ridiculous sight of only the North ruckman (Preuss) 'contesting' the ruck, with the Cats effectively having an extra player on the ground ready to get the tap or tackle whoever got the resultant tap out. Not what they expected when requiring teams to nominate a ruckman no doubt.

That was a real blight on the game and I can see another 'interpretation' coming, whereby umpires would (and should) ping teams for not contesting ruck contests.

Mills is fresh off a losing Grand Final.
Probably not as easy for him to pick himself up and start again. Hopefully tonight he will make some inroads

Mills has done plenty of good stuff in the first two rounds. Sure, he's made mistakes, but defenders' mistakes are always more noticeable than forwards', and they invariably look slow when defending in tandem with a midfield that isn't putting pressure on the opposition.

He's still a kid, for crying out loud. People seem to have extraordinarily high expectations for someone who has barely played 25 games.

I've noticed that there seems to be a bit of fire and drive missing from his game.
A bit more complacent compared to last year.
Form comes and goes. It's the passion that needs to be maintained.

Who was playing in a grand final replay, away from home, that was extremely close with not too much time remaining. You can't a much more tense situation in a regular season game.
