I think Sinclair will have the slight edge as he could probably (hopefully) run with Brodie Grundy reasonably well. We need to try to negate Grundy as much as possible.

Also, playing two inexperienced ruckmen will probably be seen as a bit much of a risk by the match committee this week.

And who are you tipping Ugg?

I believe Ugg is overseas at the moment so we might not get the inside mail this time. Neil Cordy believes its Sinclair who will be picked.

This article says Sinclair has got the nod, but doesn't elaborate on how they've come to that conclusion

I'm happy with that, it won't hurt Darcy at all to do his time in the NEAFL for a bit but I'm sure he will get his chance this season

    Jordan Dawson to debut

Interesting melting pot of issues for this game.

    - A week of umpiring controversy where the club has been in contact with the AFL Umpiring Dept.
    - Home game for us hopefully with a vocal crowd
    - Both Swans and Collingwood are 0-2 for the year
    - Friday night game with a massive TV audience in Melbourne
    - How much is Eddy Maguire paying the umpires - just joking.

out: Tippett - I think Sinclair will get the spot if only from an experience pov.
Cunningham - I think he has used up his 9 lives

In - don't know but would like to see Jordan Dawson get a run.

Harri Marsh was hardly sighted last week but deserves another shot

he sure has the X factor and I don't know why anyone would suggest he play back. His value is forward as he is a goal kicker ate junior level. Kicked 9 in the SANFL U18 prelim. As Leigh Matthews says players don't do much differently in the seniors as they do in the juniors it just depends on their head space, demands of the game and confidence keeping them in the game. He says that in most cases a good junior translates into a good senior.

    you're back.

exciting times. another debutant. interesting they have excluded laidler and not replaced him like for like. I guess Jones and Lloyd will share the 7th defender role.
