the team on our swans site video is very different in starting possies to what is on the AFL site

    http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/2...r-eagles-clash

this is the team below as per swans website video team announcement etc

I just love the mids Florent, Hannes and Mills as it could be the midfield for many many years........I know when Heeney comes back it changes things but the youth looks awesome in potential and Mills being more and more up in the midfield looks a better balance

    Def: Marsh, Grundy, Jones
    Def: Lloyd, AA, Smith
    Mids: Florent, Hannebery, Mills
    For: Hewett, Reid,Foote
    For: Paps, Franklin, Jack
    Ruck: Sinclair, Kennedy, Parker

    Interchange: Hayward, Cunningham, Newman, Fox

Don't be surprised to see a little bit of magic coaching when Reid goes to help in the Ruck........ we may just see the next chapter of Will Haywards meteoric rise.............

Will standing at FF one on one and saying catch me if you can !!!!! lol !!!!

freakish young talent and looks hungrier then Gary Rohan ever has as the random jack out of the box player upfront
"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Yep, I reckon that Laidler would probably quite like a go in the ruck.

Sorry, I'm not really up on pop culture. Is that the guy from One Direction?

The ruck solution(?) is a big concern. A lack of options, but I'm sure no one had Sinclair as the sole ruck going into the game.

They say thoroughbred's shouldn't ruck, but if Sinclair goes down in the first quarter, will we see Reid and Franklin rucking out the game?!?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

This team is terrible. The half forward and half back line scares no one.

Would have lost last years GF by 12 goals. Even allowing for the improvement by the omission of Rohan and Tippett.

The only consolation is that, IMHO, that west coast aren't any good and failed their first test quite badly last week. If this game wasn't in WA it would be a coin flip. Especially if smith can cancel Lecras.

A rebuild on the run. If anyone can do such a thing it is this club. Let's hope they can keep the good kids with so much salary cap invested in so few ( although , for th most part, exceptional players)

A game against the hawks this week would have been so intriguing.

Such a young team, pressure is off so time for the kids to give it a crack! Games like this one you find out what the next generation of players is made of. Fringe players like Cunningham, Sinclair and Foote have a chance to prove us all wrong.

I think I'll enjoy this season much more when we're no longer a top 4 possibility

Couldn't do it every time though or even the dumbest ruck opponent would get the hang of punching the ball halfway to the goal square.
Libba put his had up as the ruck at one time. When their ruck was only metres away. Very strange tactics.

For every rule the AFL make, coaches and players figure out a way to subvert it. It's like taxation law and accountants!

Never would the battle for the wooden spoon have held such interest.
