Rose two set shots at goal - missed both. He was way too close to the man on the mark both times.

Swans got plenty of the ball but butchered it mostly.

    Working for me on YouTube.
Lions 26, Swans 10 at end of Q1.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Q1 Lions 4.2 26 , Swans 1.4 10. Smith dominated in ruck for the Lions but is sitting on the pine after a heavy tackle.

Geez some of these NEAFL commentators crack me up! They sound like they have no idea what is going on sometimes! How could they not know what the 50 meter penalty was for I think Jack! Who he called Murray after he called it that Murray (correctly) took the good mark to kick it to that player! Lol.

Newman sent back to the reserves to work on his pointing technique, but so far I don't see anything to suggest he can win his spot back in the seniors.

Two bounces and a top goal to Newman - he is a class above most of them IMHO

Mapleson goals and the Swans hit the front after his previous set shot was a horrible OOB.
