How does Towers hold his spot after last weeks disappearing act....??

Would of loved to see Dawson back in...Opportunity missed.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

    I was at the game

    1) Tom Mitchell gets his posessions by stealth - I kinda rue him not dishing off to Joey where they could be put to good use

    2) Crows supporters are feral - haven't heard so much vitriol against a team's own players (when they were 3 goals up ... it got worse from there) in a while

    3) Hawkes supporters are still obnoxious (even in the minority)

    4) I hate their song - even when the Swans weren't beaten

Does anyone else think he could be Nick Smith's successor?

Does it make our defeat any easier to take?

Marsh is only a depth player IMO.

When I think of a flag challenging best 22 I don't see Marsh or Towers.

    Thoughts:

    * Dawson is stiff
    * Marsh may be depth player at the moment but he may grow to be more than that in the future
    * Interesting comments by Horse on team selection: 1. Melican was always going to be brought back - Marsh was a horses for courses selection. 2. Aliir was in the frame for selection but for a knee injury (is that for real? Would that have been at Melican's expense?). 3. Macca is going to spend weeks (plural) in the NEAFL.

Last night I found myself barracking for Hawthorn (and there isn't a team I hate more) because the Crows are ahead of us on the ladder and the Hawks aren't. (I agree the strains of mighty, fighting hawks is odious.) Also found myself thinking that if Crows fans are anything like (some) RWO fans Pyke will be copping a pasting. Even afl.com.au suggested "there was no sign of a Plan B". Sound familiar?

Last night's result, as well as Carlton beating GWS last week, does put our losses to those teams in a slightly different light.

Whether McVeigh pulls up well from training will determine whether he plays NEAFL
    Is Aliir damaged?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

He hurt his knee in the NEAFL but there was no structural damage so it's only minor.

If you hate a team's song, I find it helpful to change some of the words and turn a song you hate into one that's amusing.

    "We're a crappy team at Hawthorn ... "

Had a look at Crows BF board, yes the sky has fallen in, lots of "we're soft as, just flat track bullies" and "Pyke has to go" stuff, even Crows darling Eddie Betts copped it. Almost as good a read as the Richmond BF board after a bad loss, but no one eats their own as well as the Tigers do!!

Ohh, I really don't understand why people say such nasty things about the mustard on turd.
