A curious fact ... the Swans have had fewer scoring shots than their opponents in all six Grand Finals they have played in since relocating to Sydney. Sydney have won two premierships by kicking straight.

2005 - 8.10 (58) vs West Coast 7.12 (54) - 18 scoring shots to 19.
2012 - 14.7 (91) vs Hawthorn 11.15 (81) - 21 scoring shots to 26.

Correct, it's like the Inside 50 count, there's dangerous entries to the top of the square and then there's the ball crossing the 50 line out by the boundary during the scrappy bit of play which is highly unlikely to create a goal but both are Inside 50s.
