So if that's a free against Heeney, Roughead should have had the free paid against him for his tackle on Hanners in the 2014 GF.

Why are both sides falling about like drunken sailors? Is the ground wet? Is it the dew? I didn't see it happen with the Seconds.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

There were definitely slippages in the NEAFL especially in the second half when the sun had set.

    Towers is doing very well.

Much better than I thought he'd be in the Ruck/Tall forward role - props to him!

Thought that Melican was very good on Riewoldt that quarter. Mills and McVeigh have also been classy down back. St Kilda only just hanging on. Just need a bit more composure up forward and it should be a percentage booster.

    Still struggling to kick straight.
Interesting how Buddy's shots aren't swinging back and they are staying straight.

Papley went off with a hip/back injury. Hopefully he is ok.

Loved that bump by Mills ????.

Poor Sinclair, he's been pigeonholed all his life as a ruckman, carrying the burden of doing the taps around the ground. Relieved of this onerous task, he's finally broken through to claim his true identity as a key forward extraordinaire.

Melican has been super so far tonight - that new contract has done him a huge boost to take his game to a further level.

OMG. is Heeney in trouble for that 'dangerous' tackle (as described by the commentators). We will need him against the Hawks next week.

Channel 7 commentators trying to make more out of Heeneys tackle on Geary: "he's from a rugby background" "spear tackle" was mentioned. Heeney went low and Geary jumped at the last second, just unfortunate circumstances, no way did Heeney attempt a 'spear tackle'. Sheese! Darn good tackle though!!
