There is a great podcast Junktime #167.

It's a interview with Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald, he played for the swans at the turn of the century.

Some of the stories about Rocket Eade will make you rewind the tape and listen again.

Very funny and tragic, download and enjoy!!
Thanks for the recommendation. Highly enjoyable and insightful.

No wonder the Swans players ended up hating him.

I wouldn't worry about the next coach. The only way longmire will leave is if he's poached by another club or we spend 5 years at the bottom.
He could easily be coach for the next 10 years.

Needs to start getting team selection correct then. We have the correct team on here every week, he only needs to look, instead he makes up his own mind and gets it wrong!

True, the club could save a fortune on assistant coaches if it just tapped into the collective group think of RWO.

Lloyd is an important re-signing but surely the number one priority has to be Sinclair? I hadn't realised he was out of contract this year. The way he's playing at the moment is surely pushing his price upwards.

Need all four. Our backline is a well oiled machine and Sinclair has to be the most improved player in the league. Gone from useful to very good. Credit to him.

I don't think that Sinclair is out of contract as I vaguely remember being reported at the time of his trade that he was given a 4 year contract (2016-2019), but I can't find anything online to verify this. My thoughts are if he was out of contract it would have been mentioned in the media by now.

Roar article (Josh Elliott, pretty good journo) said it was four years:

Its believed the lure of a four-year deal is what swayed Sinclair from his original plans to remain with the Eagles despite outside interest.
