Lest We Forget: Aussies Rules players who have died in active service

    Hey folks

Here is a roll of Aussie Rules players killed in service. Lest we forget.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them.

God of our fathers, known of old,
Lord of our far-flung battle line,
Beneath whose awful hand we hold
    Dominion over palm and pine
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
    Lest we forget
    Lest we forget.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

I see in the introduction that it says no VFL footballer was killed in any wars other than the Anglo-Boer War and the two World Wars. I wonder if there were some footballers who were conscripted for the Vietnam War, but fortunately survived it? Anybody know of a Vietnam vet who was a footballer?

Norths Graham Cornes (who played VFL after Vietnam and was almost a Swan)
    Fitzroys John Duckworth
Footscray Graeme Chalmers (but sever after his playing days)
    Geelongs Wayne Closter
