#AFL Round 10 Weekly Discussion Thread

I notice Sam Murray has been omitted this week, which belies his stats at least: averaging 21 disposals - 23 last week, with 6 marks (0 tackles though). Quick Twitter search suggests a mix of surprise and reference to his increasingly poor disposal.

Murray out makes me feel better about trading him although watching him for the Pies I couldn't see who he would displace to get a game for us.

Notice Dunkley dropped for the Dogs along with Wallis, I must say I find their ins and outs each week intriguing, unusual club the Bullies.

A number of important games this week, including ours, be a good weekend watch but another ordinary Friday night game, the AFL has got so many of these badly wrong this year.

I find Murray's omission a but confusing but if he's giving up the ball all the time......fair enough I suppose.

I agree 707, the Bullies are an unusual club indeed.....their coach, a confusing unit.

I mentioned this on the "Caro on Goodes" thread but will mention it here as well. Adam Goodes is being interviewed by Waleed Aly on The Project tonight. I'll be watching that one.....

I find it hard to have a preference as to the winner tonight - strong dislike of both!

Although I dislike both as well I hope the Dogs win as the lower the Pies finish the better the 2nd round pick they traded to us for Sam Murray will be.

    I hate both.

They are Collingwood, and there is Eddie - one of the worst people to ever exist.

But I cant look at the Dogs without thinking of the 22 players and three cheats in yellow stealing a flag. I hope every single one of them gets badly injured, loses all their money after developing a gambling habit, gets ditched by their wives and ends up living under a bridge eating cat food.

A Pies win - though in a close game that gives Eddie a coronary would be ideal.

The 2nd round pick we got off Collingwood for Murray dictates that every time they play I barrack for them to lose. I hope they come last and our 2nd rounder is number 19. It's not going to happen but that is what I barrack for.

Anyone watching this game? Unbelievably the free kick count only favours the Dogs by two.....at times tonight I've been thinking I'm watching the 2016 GF. Dogs getting frees they shouldn't, getting away with throwing, getting away with dropping the ball and interpretations that are the opposite of reality.....in favour of the Dogs. Effing unbelievable!

I've noticed them getting a lot of frees but I actually don't think they've been unduly favoured. Pretty much every free paid to them has been there, and I haven't seen any bloopers missed. The HTB against Daicos in the 2nd quarter was maybe a bit rough on the Pies but otherwise umpiring has been pretty reasonable so far.

Watching this 2018 pack of dogs, you wonder how (even with the umps many gifts) we lost the 16 Granny.
They are currently bereft of any ideas and a shambles of a team.

Dogs are tanking 2018 now to get a higher pick in the "Super Draft".

They keep saying how young their team is but a lot of the 2016 Brave Dogs are still in the team or in the ressies! Reckon they'll finish just in front of the bottom four.

Not happy with the Pies pushing out our second rounder, we need those Blakey points!
