    #AFL Round 5, Sydney Swans v Adelaide Crows, 7:50pm 20/04 SCG @sydneyswans #AFLSwansCrows

May I start the match thread?

Light rain was predicted today, but no sign of it so far - lovely conditions in Sydney right now.

Crows will be stinging from last week, but haven't traveled well to the SCG of late. We "found a way" last week and have some personnel changes. Could be an intriguing contest.

I'm torn between thinking the Crows will put in a blinder and we'll crush them. Contested ball was always their weakness until last 12-18 months, so having so many midfielders out surely hurts them. I'm going with a Crows supporter, so hope for both our sakes it's a close game.

umpires are Simon Meredith, Chris Donlon and Leigh Haussen (must be new).

Swans have had a 6 day break but are almost full strength. It's also a home game - if that means anything.
Crows have a 7 day break but have lots of injuries to key players. However, they will be a bit angry after their loss last week.

I hope the dew has fallen and dried before the game starts.
I'm slightly confident we can win.

Absolutely Neil, there's no set responsibilities here. Thanks for starting it!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

No late changes for either team.

All settled for the night with my drinks and munchies. Just put the telly on 7 mate to find there was only a few minutes remaining in the match. Disappointed!. Took me a few minutes to realise it was a replay from last year.

I think the following players need to play well for the Swans to win:
    Rampe
    Sinclair
    Heeney
    Kennedy
    Grundy
    and of course Buddy.

If 3-4 of them are in our best we should win.

Mild and a very light breeze here at the ground. Surface doesnt look too damp.

Saw someone modeling the Rampe on the way in

Looks more like the Hugh Hefner.
