I also meant to mention Callan Ward. Great player, huge tonight for GWS.....but he'll probably only get two Brownlow votes, as Mitchell got 50 possessions again and well, with all the umpire/Hawthorn love tonight......

I see the Dees are doing what the Dees do......losing when the finals expectations overwhelm them......14 pts down late in the last quarter.....to the Saints!! Actually, make that 20 pts down.

Wow, Saints got the last minute jitters, conceded three late goals but survive by 2 pts! I'm glad they got there......but the Dees, where does that leave their fans? Same place it left them in so many season's past......fu**ed!

....and thirteen goals in the first quarter of the Dons v Norf game! Go Bombers....for our ladder position.

I know a lot of lovely people who barrack for the Demons and their club is letting them down yet again. The club stands for nothing and has no heart.

If you're not watching at the moment, do yourself a favour and tune in to Dons v North. The most entertaining game of the year so far! (Swans wins excepted, of course!)

Only five goals in the third.....what a letdown! Early in the last and the Dons are still up by 19.

Lions also doing well in the West, 25 pts up, mid second quarter against Freo.

Almost every team around the Swans has lost, with the exception of Collingwood and Port. Bombers 2 goals up with less than 9 minutes to play

Could the Bombers make the eight and pull off a Dog act ?

Yep, could have been a lot worse. Looks like 5 teams competing for the top 4. Massive game this week, particularly given our draw. First evening of a couple of weeks off with the kids over the school holidays - can't wait.

    Possibly and no.....

.....and woah, look at what's happening in the West. Lions up by 41 at 3/4 time. The belief is maybe finally happening.......it's obvious they can play good footy when they get it right.

Giants are the big winners of this round. Suddenly find themselves 6th.
