    #AFLGF Pies v Eagles

Just setting up a match thread for later. As a birthday treat, I've been offered time off kid corralling to watch it at the pub. Don't mind who wins; just hoping for a good game, etc. If they both play their best, should be cracker.

I'm at the game and I'm jealous we aren't in it. But at least it will be stress free!

I think the Pies will win but I'm hoping for an Eagles win.

    Go Jetta!

Didn’t we beat the Eagles 🦅 twice, didn’t we beat the Pies!
    What does it all mean?

I thought about this too. But we also got beat by the GC, Essendon and Port Adelaide

BUT... if you want to complain about umpiring decisions in a granny, 2016 is a good start. How come he didn't mention any of those?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Because he's from Melbourne and was happy to see the Swans lose......because like most supporters of Vic based teams......he's a selective hypocrite!

#AFL WC v Collingwood Grand Final Match Thread

Well, just under an hour to the bounce. The Swans Riley Stoddart has won his sprint heat easily to make it to the half time GF Sprint final. At the moment, the retirees are doing their lap of honour, a process that now leaves a slightly sour taste in my mouth after our own Adam Goodes forced absence from this tradition.....but, aside from that, it will be a big day.

I'm still on the Pies and want them to win for Travis Varcoe.....a player who, although he has already won GF's, deserves to be joyous on this day.

.....and how will big Mason Cox go? Will Jetta fire or have 'a quiet one'? Is McGovern fully fit? Will Sidebottom win the Norm Smith....he's got the Gary Ayres Medal pretty much wrapped up. Will Stevic be 100% neutral for once in his life? Who'll kick the first goal? Will Howe take a speccy? So many questions....all to be answered soon enough.

    Have a great day everyone......

All I am hoping for is that it is that it is fairly officiated.

    NO LATE CHANGES

    FINAL INTERCHANGES
West Coast: Dom Sheed, Daniel Venables, Nathan Vardy, Tom Cole
Collingwood: Adam Treloar, James Aish, Jaidyn Stephenson, Brayden Sier

PS: Happy for Vardy and Aish to be getting a chance at glory as well.
